Fail. Shut Down. Really?
For an entire week, Jon Olsson waited, hoping for an improvement in the inclement weather at Treble Cone. One sunny afternoon, and Olsson could have gone skyward on the 28-meter step-up that Treble Cone invested about 60 cat hours to help build. He was hoping to attempt a triple cork 1440. But frustratingly, agonizingly, that sunny day never came. And the veteran Scandinavian trick inventor left the New Zealand resort empty handed early this week.
