Michael Vick is a top-10 quarterback

Say what you will about the timing of the major quarterback decision Philadelphia Eagles coach Andy Reid made Tuesday, but from a fantasy football aspect, this is good news. I realize Michael Vick has started a mere one game in four years, and it was against the defensively challenged Detroit Lions last week, but this guy is good. He can help your fantasy team, so much so that I consider him a top-10 quarterback, not only this week, but for the duration of the season.

Truth be told, when I started my Week 3 rankings, I ranked Kevin Kolb as my No. 12 quarterback. I was -- and remain -- a Kolb fan. I think he does have, as Reid noted in a hastily called press conference Tuesday night, a positive future as an NFL quarterback. He's a strong-armed pocket passer who in brief playing time last season looked ready for regular duty, and the Donovan McNabb trade gave him opportunity. A concussion and Vick's standout play simply took it away.
