Davis wins after Browns-Eagles trade

Like many trades in fantasy sports, the people in the swap aren't always the most affected in terms of fantasy value. Take Wednesday's odd trade with the Philadelphia Eagles' acquiring Jerome Harrison from the Cleveland Browns in exchange for Mike Bell. On the surface, it's hard to see a way that either of these fellows is a fantasy winner, because neither moves up with his new organization's depth chart. In this case, I see a different player's stock rising, and it would be Browns running back James Davis.

Peyton Hillis has been a revelation this season, going from undrafted in most leagues to the No. 8 running back through five weeks. It's been a wild ride, but this guy looks legit. Of course, Hillis is dealing with a strained quadriceps muscle, an injury that could keep him out of Sunday's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Bell has had a terrible season in Philly. He's looked slow and seems to limp after every other play. If Hillis misses time, I think Davis is the winner.
