Green Bay defense shuts down Miami
When fans think of the 1996 Green Bay Packers, they think of Brett Favre and an explosive offense that led the NFL in scoring that season.
The defense isn't too shabby, either. Led by linemen Reggie White, Gilbert Brown, Santana Dotson and Sean Jones, the Packers also allowed the fewest points in the NFL in 1996, and in Week 6 Super League action, they shut down the 1972 Miami Dolphins in a 21-13 victory. The Packers improved to 4-2 while the Dolphins dropped back to 3-3.
