You don't see the University of Arkansas recruit the East Coast much, but they have this season. The change in recruiting strategy is already paying dividends for Bobby Petrino and his Razorbacks. On Sunday night they landed one of the top prospects from Virginia in four-star wide receiver Quinta Funderburk (Chesapeake, Va./Oscar Smith).

"Quinta went to Arkansas for an official visit and just fell in love with the place," said Oscar Smith coach Richard Morgan. "He loves the offense, the atmosphere, the coaching staff and he really wanted to play in the SEC.

"The offense there is similar to what he plays in here and he felt comfortable with the idea that he would maximize his talents at Arkansas in that offense. I think it's a great decision for him because as long as he's happy and comfortable he will do really, really well."
