Scouting the AFL: Trayvon Robinson
He had a breakout season in repeating the high-Class A California League in '09, hitting .300 with a .373 on-base percentage, 17 homers and 47 steals. The switch-hitting Robinson, who turned 23 last month, then followed that up with his second straight solid season, this time at Double-A. He rebounded from a slow start to bat .300 again with a .404 on-base percentage and 38 steals, improving his success rate. He's back at the Arizona Fall League again, this time under the watchful eye of his potential future manager, Don Mattingly.
