Preparing for wild ride at MLB Winter Meetings

What goes on at the mysterious Major League Baseball Winter Meetings? Media madness when news breaks? A little wheeling and dealing? Lots of standing and waiting around and schmoozing? What can the public expect from the four days of deal making, meetings, networking and story stalking? A little bit of everything we mentioned and a lot that we can't even imagine right now. I've been a baseball fan my whole life, closely monitoring trades and free-agent signings all year round. Of course when you're a Yankee fan you really need to watch free-agent activity.
