Tyler Biggs' stock is rising
Scouts think it's a bit of a down year for the USDT, the USHL and Canadian Junior A (the level below major junior). That might be a bit harsh on all counts, particularly with the USDT, which had seven players selected in the first two rounds back in June. The 2011 USDT -- '93 birthdays -- might not be a powerhouse on the scale of the '91 and '92 vintages but three skaters, all forwards, should be three first-rounders at the very least. The USHL has two players who are projected to be in the first-round. However, the Canadian Junior A is the Sahara Desert this year. There is no Kyle Turris, no Joe Colbourne, no one who has emerged as a must-see-again. Here are some reviews based on recent viewings of the top prospects:
