Auburn is capitalizing off its big season on the field and the coaching change in Gainesville. At this time last week five-star linebacker Tony Steward (St. Augustine, Fla./Menendez) had already visited UCLA and was scheduled to visit Florida this weekend. Because of the Urban Meyer resignation at the University of Florida he has cancelled his visit with the Gators and will instead visit Auburn this weekend.

"Tony will leave for Auburn on Friday and come back on Sunday," Menendez coach Keith Cromwell said via text message. "Coach [Ted] Roof came in and had an in-home visit with Tony and his mom last night. Tony said it went great. He's excited to go up to Auburn and check it out."

Steward, the top linebacker in the country, visited UCLA earlier this month and is scheduled to officially visit Alabama Jan. 7, Clemson Jan. 14 and Florida State Jan. 21. Steward has been favoring both Clemson and FSU for some time.
