About 40,000 people were shivering Monday night in 20-degree weather -- and a windchill of 9 -- to watch the Chicago Bears beat the Minnesota Vikings, 40-14, at TCF Bank Stadium.
With the Metrodome unusable because of a roof collapse, the game was moved to the University of Minnesota. The stadium Monday was about 80 percent full, with snowballs flying from the seats -- sometimes hitting players -- and plenty of frolicking in the flakes.
