'Bah, humbug' to Christmas NBA games

Our Adena Andrews and Phil Jackson have something in common: they don't think the NBA should schedule games for Christmas. Thirteen hours of basketball mask the real meaning of the holiday.

If you're contemplating what to get Lakers head coach Phil Jackson for Christmas, make sure it's not another Christmas Day game. He is as tired of playing on the holiday as I am of fruitcake.

"It's like Christian holidays don't mean anything to [the NBA] anymore," Jackson said. "I don't think anybody should play on Christmas Day."
