With Buckeyes, NCAA just keeps spinning

A famous line has come to mind quite a few times recently, especially whenever the NCAA has ruled on something:

"It's not the crime, it's the cover-up."

That went through my mind last week when word got out that six Ohio State Buckeyes players, including star QB Terrelle Pryor, would be suspended for five games for selling memorabilia, apparel and other things while accepting discounts on tattoos. Any time an athlete is suspended for almost a half-season, it seems to be a pretty hefty punishment. Yet, the curious part of the whole deal was that NCAA is allowing the players to participate in the Buckeyes' next game, the Sugar Bowl.

Huh?
