Analyzing the Matt Garza deal

When a deal as significant as the Matt Garza trade is made, evaluators with other clubs will look at it the way in the way we dissected frogs in high school science class. They'll look at in the big picture, under a microscope, take it apart and break it down.

I solicited opinions from evaluators from five different teams after the news of the Garza deal broke -- two days after Gordon Wittenmyer reported that the Cubs were in a good position to make a Garza trade -- and in general, here was what their response to the deal was:
