CSS is overrating Gabriel Landeskog

Gabriel Landeskog came into the season with the challenge of showing NHL scouts that he had the scoring touch to justify a place in the top 10 of the NHL draft. Now he finds himself atop the NHL Central Scouting Service's (CSS) mid-term rankings. Not too shabby.

The Swedish native with the Kitchener Rangers has had a great season until it was put on hold with a high ankle sprain in December that knocked him out of the U-20s. But does the left winger fully merit NHL CSS's No. 1 ranking in the mid-terms handed down earlier this week? No.
