USC continues to reap the rewards

USC's big recruiting weekend just keeps getting better. Not only did the Trojans pick up a commitment over the weekend from talented linebacker Anthony Sarao (Absecon, N.J./Absecon), but they took over the pole position for elite athlete Marqise Lee (Gardena, Calif./Serra). The recruitment of Sarao has been an incredible story. He committed early to Stanford and seemed rock-solid all season long. The only school that appeared to have a shot at even getting an official visit was UCLA, but things changed during the week of the Army All-American Bowl practices. Sarao talked with the Trojans' coaching staff while in San Antonio, and after getting to know a few of USC's committed players -- including George Farmer (Gardena, Calif./Junipero Serra) and DeAnthony Thomas (Los Angeles, Calif./Crenshaw) -- Sarao decided to switch his visit out west from UCLA to USC.
