Silas and Holiday are sleepers to watch
Every spring, the word "sleeper" gets thrown around in draft conversations more than any other word. Guys that either are not being talked about enough or players who will not get drafted high but will probably stick with a team always make for a good story. I'm searching for sleepers now, and have found two guys who fit the bill.
What if I told you that there is only one player among the top five in the NCAA in points per game who is at least 6-foot-5? What if I also told you that this same guy is shooting better than 40 percent from 3-point range and has a better percentage than the other guys in the top five from that distance? Finally, what if I told you that this same player, by far the best on his team, plays good defense and looks like he could be a tough guy to score on in the NBA? Do you think he'd have a chance in the NBA? I do, which is why I'll be watching Xavier Silas closely all season.
