Scouts Inc.'s Gary Horton and Matt Williamson have reviewed all the film and broken down the nose tackles who will compete in Super Bowl XLV. They have compared them in seven categories and given an edge for each.
Strength/powerThis is Pittsburgh Steelers nose tackle Casey Hampton's greatest asset. He plays the game low and with excellent leverage, which adds to his tremendous natural power. Hampton has ideal size for his position and can be a true anchor in the middle of the field. He has great upper- and lower-body strength and power.
