Doc Gooden checks into 'Celebrity Rehab'

TMZ reported that former Mets great Dwight "Doc" Gooden will appear on the new season of "Celebrity Rehab," along with the likes of the White House party crashers and "Baywatch"'s Jeremy Jackson. espnW's Amanda Rykoff laments the downfall of this once-great pitcher who can't seem to get his life together after baseball.

Oh, doctor. TMZ reported yesterday that former New York Mets (and Yankees) pitching great Dwight "Doc" Gooden will appear on the new season of VH-1's "Celebrity Rehab" with Dr. Drew Pinsky. This news saddens me on many levels.
