Wrapping it up

Emily Miller didn't win the Rallye des Gazelles as she'd hoped, but her squad didn't do half bad. Though a competitor's car earned a free fix late in the race, Miller has no hard feelings toward the winner -- and she's already contemplating coming back next year, better than ever.

Emily Miller is an off-road racer who just completed the Rallye Aicha des Gazelles, an annual women's-only, two-week, 1,500-mile race across the desert of southern Morocco. She blogged about her experience for espnW.

We are working our way to the surfing village of Tagazhout and then on to Essaouira for the ceremonial finish of the rally. It's been an incredible nine days of competition in my favorite desert.
