Mandi Schwartz's legacy lives on

Mandi Schwartz, a 23-year-old former Yale hockey player who was the subject of a continent-wide search for a bone-marrow donor, died on Sunday after a battle with leukemia. Bulldogs teammate Caroline Murphy emotionally remembers her close friend, celebrating a passionate life lived well.

The first time I met Mandi Schwartz, I had just run up six flights of stairs and burst out onto her landing.
