Traumatic Tuesday

Tuesday turned into a day of big losses for a couple of big teams. The Lakers' Andrew Bynum hyperextended his knee just in time for the NBA playoffs and the MLB-leading Rangers lost 2010 AL MVP Josh Hamilton for six to eight weeks with a broken right arm. Here's what else you missed last night.

NBA: The Lakers had both a big win and a big loss Tuesday night. They beat the Western Conference-leading San Antonio Spurs 102-93 to snap a five-game losing skid but lost center Andrew Bynum to a hyperextended right knee. Bynum stepped on DeJuan Blair's foot in the second quarter, and his knee buckled.
