Nothing but Garnett

Carmelo Anthony had 42 points Tuesday and the Knicks still couldn't pull out a win. Instead, Kevin Garnett hit the go-ahead shot to give the Celtics a 2-0 lead in their first-round playoff series. In the NHL playoffs, the San Jose Sharks staged an incredible comeback win after being down 4-0 in the second period to take a 2-1 series lead. Here's what else you missed last night.

NBA: Despite Carmelo Anthony's 42 points, the New York Knicks fell to the Boston Celtics 96-93 Tuesday night after Kevin Garnett made the go-ahead basket with 13 seconds remaining. With the win, the Celtics grabbed a 2-0 lead in their opening-round playoff series. The Knicks were missing a couple key contributors. Chauncey Billups was suffering from a sore knee and missed the entire game, while Amare Stoudemire sat out the whole second half due to back spasms.
