Wear twins highlight transfer players
As someone who transferred between major college programs by spending a season at a junior college, I can tell you there are many different paths players will take between teams. What they often have in common, however, is a year spent on the sidelines. That year off generally helps players mature mentally and physically, and although the rust is apparent the first couple of starts, the experience is incredibly valuable.
Here's a list of my top impact transfers who figure to greatly help their new teams when they suit up for their new squads in 2011-12.
Chris Allen -- Michigan State to Iowa State
Allen is a very talented shooter who was constantly in the dog house in East Lansing. He can light up a depleted Big 12 when he becomes eligible. He is wildly inconsistent as a shooter and teammate, but after a year off and being around Fred Hoiberg, maybe things have changed.
