It was a short morning of surf at the SuperSurf World Prime presented by Peugeot, in Santa Catarina, Brazil. Conditions deteriorated and a high tide forced the event off for the day. Gabriel Medina won the first heat. He and Dylan Graves will advance. The Brazilians continued to look strong, including Leonardo Neves, Miguel Pupo and Neco Padaratz.
