Bits: Mike Carp a must-add in AL-only play
• Seattle Mariners prospect Mike Carp made his season debut Wednesday as the team's designated hitter, getting hit by a pitch and later singling in four at-bats. Carp was hitting .353 with 19 home runs at Triple-A Tacoma before his recall. He's first base eligible and could add outfield eligibility soon; those in AL-only leagues should add him.
