Tallahassee (Fla.) North Florida Christian defensive back Travis Blanks, who's No. 11 in the ESPNU 150, surprised many by committing to Clemson.

The 6-foot-1, 190-pound four-star prospect was thought to be leaning towards SEC schools Auburn and Georgia, but Clemson was waiting in the wings.

"I tried to keep everyone on their toes a little bit," Blanks said. "In the end the people at Clemson -- the administration, the coaches, the players -- are just great. You really can't measure the strong relationships I've developed at Clemson."
