Bits: Alex Presley makes splash in debut
• Pittsburgh Pirates outfielder Alex Presley homered and knocked in three runs in his season debut Tuesday, doing so as the team's leadoff hitter. Presley hit .336 with eight home runs and 18 stolen bases at Triple-A Indianapolis, and with Jose Tabata on the DL, he should get an extended look. It's premature to add him in standard leagues yet, but there is stolen base and run-scoring potential.
