Ian White agrees to two-year deal

DETROIT -- The Detroit Red Wings agreed to terms with defenseman Ian White on a two-year, $5.75 million contract on Saturday.

The 27-year-old White will get a chance to fill the void on the Red Wings' power play created by the retirement of defenseman Brian Rafalski.
