Baylor promotion inspires new Page 2 sales tips

On July 4, the high temperature in Waco, Texas, was 101 degrees.

And?

And that's the dollar amount fans will pay for certain 2011 Baylor football season tickets, after the Waco-based Bears decided to base prices on Independence Day's Fahrenheit reading. But, according to our highly (un)reliable sources, Baylor isn't the only place prepared to use unusual numbers to determine pricing. Here's a glimpse at some other pricing promotions in sports:
