Too sick to train?

Learn when to head out to train or head home

Truth told, no one likes to get benched. But trying to power through a workout when you're starting to get sick or sore can make matters worse.

"In general, if you don't feel well, you should probably respect your body's request and rest," said Volker Musahl, M.D., an assistant professor of orthopaedic surgery at the UPMC Center for Sports Medicine in Pittsburgh, Pa. "That is unless you're Lance Armstrong, who rode his bicycle every single day during chemotherapy treatments."
