Liz Cambage an All-Star replacement
NEW YORK -- Tulsa Shock rookie Liz Cambage has been announced as the replacement for injured Los Angeles center Candace Parker on the Western Conference roster for Saturday's WNBA All-Star game.
Parker, voted as a starter for the West in fan balloting, is sidelined by a knee injury and not expected to return to the Sparks' lineup until next month. Cambage, a 19-year-old Australian averaging 13.6 points and 5.3 rebounds, was selected by WNBA president Laurel Richie on Wednesday.
