Jose Altuve debuts, Vance Worley shines
• Houston Astros second baseman Jose Altuve made his big league debut Wednesday with a single in five at-bats. Altuve, recalled after Jeff Keppinger was traded to the San Francisco Giants, was hitting .389 in the minors with 42 extra-base hits and 24 stolen bases. If Altuve, 21, can hit .275 with a few home runs and five steals per month in the majors, he's worthy of deep league attention, but even that is premature.
