Jags, Paul Posluszny agree to deal

The Jacksonville Jaguars have agreed with linebacker Paul Posluszny on a six-year deal worth $45 million, with $15 million guaranteed.

Posluszny, a 2007 second-round draft pick out of Penn State, completed his four-year contract in 2010 with the Buffalo Bills. He will turn 27 in October.

Posluszny labored with the decision, a source said, because he wanted to stay with the Bills. He decided on the Jaguars because of the chance to play middle linebacker in a 4-3 defense. ...
