MLB owners meet in Cooperstown

COOPERSTOWN, N.Y. -- Major League Baseball began two days of meetings at the Otesaga Hotel on Wednesday, two days after postponing a vote to approve the proposed sale of the Houston Astros from Drayton McLane to Jim Crane.

McLane, who made the trip to Cooperstown, and Crane had anticipated a vote on the $680 million deal at the meetings, which conclude Thursday.
