Dontre Wilson makes a name for himself

With so many high-major recruits on the DeSoto (Texas) football team, junior Dontre Wilson is simply trying to find where he fits in. After Monday's electric performance at the Kirk Herbstreit National Kickoff Classic, the wide receiver may have found his calling.
Wilson caught a touchdown pass in DeSoto's 63-0 rout against Oklahoma City Douglass, but it was his special teams play that made him a highlight reel. Wilson nearly returned three punts for touchdowns and showed that he arguably is the most dangerous return man in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.
"This was my first time doing this," Wilson said of fielding punts in game situations. "I was nervous at first, but we needed somebody to do it. Last year, we had somebody, and this year, someone needed to step up."
