Sergio Santos fits with the Blue Jays
The Toronto Blue Jays are baseball's version of the Oakland Raiders, it was written here last summer, and there's something about that comparison that appealed to manager John Farrell, who chatted about it the other day. The Jays are the Island of Misfit Toys. Yunel Escobar is Toronto's shortstop because he didn't mesh with the Braves, and Colby Rasmus was available to the Jays because the Cardinals grew weary of him. Jose Bautista is the Jays' best player and leader, after more than a half-dozen career transactions.
