Today's look at Tuesday's box score madness, highlighted by a Freddy Garcia line for the ages.

The good

Danny Duffy vs. Oakland: 6 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 4 BB, 8 K

What's up with that?

To find the last Royals pitcher to rip off a line like that (at least 6 IP, at least 8 K's, and no more than one hit), you have to venture back to a previous millennium, to Jose Rosado, who spun off an 8-1-1-1-4-8 line, also against Oakland, on May 27, 1997.
