Pirates 1B Young suspended two games for excessive arguing

NEW YORK (Ticker) -- Pittsburgh Pirates first baseman Kevin Young today was suspended for two games and fined an undisclosed amount by Major League Baseball for excessive arguing with an umpire during a September 21 game at Milwaukee.

Frank Robinson, Vice President of On-Field Operations for Major League Baseball, handed down the decision today and Young will begin his suspension immediately, making him eligible to play in the Pirates' final two regular-season games against Chicago.
