Bits: Don't give up on Eric Hosmer
Kansas City Royals first baseman Eric Hosmer had three hits and a stolen base at Yankee Stadium on Wednesday, lifting his batting average to .191. Hosmer got some much-needed luck with two infield singles and a bloop double, but with a season BABIP of .191, he was due. Hosmer is starting to be dropped in ESPN standard leagues -- he's at 97.3 percent owned -- but that is a mistake. He remains a top-10 first baseman.
