Is Miami a Final Four team?
With January coming to a close, the college basketball grind of February is upon us and talk of underachievers, bubble teams, quality wins and bad losses will dominate the discussion. But I wanted to instead focus on a few of the season's more pleasant surprises -- three teams that have not only exceeded preseason expectations but have the potential to make deep runs come March.
Miami was expected to be good this season, but I'm not sure many would have imagined that, entering February, the Hurricanes would be leading the ACC with a 6-0 record that includes a 27-point win over Duke and a road win at North Carolina.
And make no mistake: This team is not a flash in the pan. In fact, I think that the Hurricanes are capable of making the Final Four. Here's why.
