PEORIA, Ariz. -- Three springs ago, it would have been tough to imagine the pending change of statistical fortunes for current Seattle Mariners corner outfielders Mike Morse and Jason Bay. Entering 2010, Morse didn't seem to matter and Bay was coming off a monster season, with 36 home runs, 119 RBIs and 13 stolen bases for the Boston Red Sox, cashing in with a monster deal with the New York Mets.

As my "Sleeper Tour" continues this week, I watched Morse and Bay start in the outfield corners Tuesday night in the Mariners' 6-3 victory over the San Francisco Giants at Peoria Stadium, and I wondered how things could be altered so definitively. And I asked these guys, both having productive springs but at different levels of the sleeper scale, what happened.
