Els tops Westwood in playoff
SUN CITY, South Africa -- Even Ernie Els gets rattled with $2 million on the line.
Els, a two-time winner of the U.S. Open, claimed golf's richest prize Sunday when he beat Lee Westwood on the second hole of a playoff to capture the Nedbank Golf Challenge for the second straight year.
"It's difficult to compare it to a putt to win a major, but this was the most nervous I have ever been," said Els, playing in his home country. "I guess money does talk."
