PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Eric Atkins, Notre Dame

He had 19 points and 11 assists in a win over Duke. Atkins also had a mere two turnovers.

TEAM OF THE WEEK: San Diego State

Steve Fisher's squad earned a pair of big road wins, at Colorado State and Kansas. It was the first Jayhawks nonconference home loss since 2006.

COACH OF THE WEEK: Bruce Weber, Kansas State

His Wildcats beat George Washington and Oklahoma State to extend their winning streak to nine games.

DIAPER DANDY OF THE WEEK: Cameron Payne, Murray State

The 6-foot-2 guard averaged 25 PPG in wins over SE Missouri State and Tennessee-Martin.

CO-SHOCK OF THE WEEK: Rhode Island over LSU and Air Force over UNLV.

The Rams came in 8-6 and left Baton Rouge, La., with a shocker. The Falcons entered with a 7-5 mark and also scored a stunner.
