Splitter outshines Durant, Westbrook, Duncan and Ginobili

From Elias: The Thunder-Spurs game was the NBA's marquee game of the night on Monday. Tiago Splitter stole the show from star players Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook, Tim Duncan and Manu Ginobili. Splitter led the Spurs outright in points (21) and rebounds (10) in their victory. It was the first time in his 183-game NBA career that Splitter led his team outright in both points and rebounds in a game.

What do Spencer Hawes and LeBron James have in common?

From Elias: Spencer Hawes scored 24 points, grabbed 10 rebounds, handed out seven assists while making 10 of his 15 shots from the field in the 76ers victory over the Nets. Only one other player in the NBA had a game in which he had that many points, rebounds and assists while making at least two-third of his shots from the field in a game this season: LeBron James on Feb. 21 at Chicago (26 points, 12 rebounds, 7 assists, 11 of 15 from the field).

Detroit not hitting on all Pistons out west

From Elias: The Pistons lost to the Jazz Monday night and are now 0-12 this season in road games against teams from the Western Conference. Detroit has three interconference road games remaining this season: at Golden State, Portland and Minnesota. The last NBA team to go winless for an entire season in road games against the other conference was the Nets in 2009-10 (0-15).

Curry, Thompson and Lee lead the Warriors

From Elias: Stephen Curry (26), Klay Thompson (23) and David Lee (21) all scored at least 20 points in the Warriors' 92-63 win over the Knicks. It's only the third time in franchise history that the Warriors had three players score at least 20 points in a victory in which they scored no more than 92 points. The Philadelphia Warriors did it twice in the 1954-55 season, both against the Knicks:

Nov. 13, 1954 (87-86 win with Neil Johnston, Joe Graboski and Paul Arizin all scoring 20+ points) and Jan. 27, 1955 (92-83, Johnston, Arizin and Jack George).

Golden State Warriors, New York Knicks

Koufus was very efficient

From Elias: Kosta Koufos made 10 of 11 shots from the field and grabbed 10 rebounds for the Nuggets in their win over the Suns Monday night. Koufos is the fourth player in the NBA this season to make 90 percent of his field goal attempts while taking at least 10 shots and grab 10 rebounds in the same game. Tyson Chandler did it twice; Kenneth Faried and Amir Johnson did it once each.

Boston owns the Capital of Canada

From Elias: The Bruins have won their last 10 games against the Senators in Ottawa. That matches the Bruins' franchise record for most consecutive road wins versus one opponent. Boston won 10 consecutive games versus the North Stars in Minnesota from 1982 to 1987.

From Elias: Jonathan Quick made 23 saves for the Kings in their victory over the Flames. Quick is 7-1-1 with a 1.19 goals-against average and a .951 save percentage over his last nine starts against the Calgary. Quick allowed two or fewer goals in eight of those nine starts.

Quick held Jarome Iginla without a goal in the victory. Iginla has scored only one goal in his last 11 games against Quick since he recorded a hat trick against him on November 21, 2009.
