True story. In Scotland I pulled a drowning man from a
swimming pool. Another true story. I might have died inside a sand
trap on the Old Course at St Andrews if my caddy hadn't pulled me
out. I wasn't leaving until I got my ball out but my caddy saw that
was never going to happen. So in the end my caddy's heroism trumped mine because
it happened later. None of the preceding
has anything to do with the story we shot in Scotland but it's not
every day you get to play the Old Course. In Scotland we saw the large
men of the Cowal Highland Games throw very heavy objects as far as
possible. I didn't try to throw the 32 pound rock. I'd already proved
my manhood in that swimming pool.

All Kenny Mayne wanted was a little love after saving a drowning man's life in Scotland. But, sadly, the pool boy took all the credit. Blog »
