Kobe Bryant nearing milestones

Los Angeles Lakers Kobe Bryant, after scoring 30 points in Friday's victory over the Los Angeles Clippers, now has 24,970 career points. He soon will become the 15th player in NBA history to reach 25,000 career points. Of the 14 players who have reached that milestone, 11 are in the Hall of Fame. And the other three -- Karl Malone, Reggie Miller and Shaquille O'Neal -- will surely make it when eligible.
