It's come down to the public's vote.
Monday night, ESPN personality Erin Andrews, Pussycat Doll singer Nicole Scherzinger and Olympic figure skater Evan Lysacek all avoided trouble and did nothing to separate themselves in the first night of the finals of ABCs "Dancing with the Stars."
Andrews and pro dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy, along with Scherzinger and pro dancer Derek Hough, finished with 55 out of 60 points for two dances. Lysacek and pro dancer Anna Trebunskaya scored a 52. The judges were tough on all the competitors but scored them all closely.
On Tuesday, the three celebrities will do a compilation dance and then the top two couples -- decided from a combination of judges' votes and the public's vote -- will have a dance off, and then a champion will be crowned.
"This show has meant everything to me. I'm trying to get happy again," said Andrews, who has had to deal with a lot of off-the-dance-floor distractions. "It's been a wonderful experience and a needed change for me. It's going to be sad when this is over."
Chmerkovskiy said it'll be tough to say goodbye to Andrews.
"I'm happy to be part of Erin's life. The sad reality is that is part of the show," he said. "I got Erin in a very fragile state, and through dance, she has an outlet to express herself and she's definitely done that."
