More than 70 Major League Soccer prospects, including John Rooney (the younger brother of Manchester United star Wayne Rooney), are in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., this week for the league's annual combine. The players took time out to head to Sawgrass Recreation Park to play with some baby alligators in preparation for the Jan. 13 draft. Rooney, a 20-year-old mildfielder, has bounced around from team to team and is hoping to find a permanent playing home. Expansion Vancouver has the first pick in the draft. Portland, another expansion team, selects second, followed by D.C. United.
