Now it's your turn. Now it's time for you to make your "Decision".
Will the Miami Heat win it all?
Remember a long, long time ago when the 2010-11 NBA season was beginning and some experts (Cough: Jeff Van Gundy) were predicting 70 victories easy for the Heatles? Well, that didn't exactly happen but the Heat are ranked No. 2 in the East after crushing the Boston Celtics 100-77 Sunday.
And the playoffs begin Saturday. Can the Heat be stopped? We all know they should be stopped, right?
Cleveland, are you there?
"Some people immediately wanted to award the title to that team," Golden State GM Larry Riley told HoopsWorld.com. "As it turns out, there were a few other teams that said, 'Whoa, wait a minute here, we have a chance to do something ourselves.' So I think it's a situation where they'll have to earn a title at some point. "
The time is nigh.
What do you say? Are there reasons to believe the Heat will be stopped cold in their tracks? Are there signs that LeBron "Darth Vader" James, Dwyane Wade and their trusty sidekick, Chris Bosh, can be thwarted in their bid for NBA domination?
That's what we want from you: Suggestions for our list of "Top 10 Reasons the Heat Won't Be Champions."
Yes, we want snide. We love snide. Send your suggestions to firstname.lastname@example.org -- including your first name, initial of your last name and your location.
Who knows, maybe Celtics Coach Doc Rivers will play. After Sunday's game, he said: "We'd like to play them, I can tell you that."
So what do you say? What's your Decision? Will someone stop the Heatles -- and why? We need your suggestions before noon Wednesday. The list will be here Thursday, just in time to provide inspiration for their opening opponent.
And by the way, Jeff Van Gundy, we'd love to hear from you, too.
