Well, that didn't take long.
Metta World Peace (formerly Ron Artest) and partner Peta Murgatroyd were the first contestants sent home on the 13th season of ABC's "Dancing With the Stars" Tuesday night.
World Peace looked awful on Monday, showing such lack of timing that it made you wish to see more Nancy Grace or Rob Kardashian.
"I had a great, great time. ... It was awesome," World Peace said. "All I want to know is who's coming with me? Peta was great. Everybody give a round of applause for Peta. She was awesome!"
Now we're left with one athlete -- soccer star Hope Solo -- remaining to try to become the seventh athlete to win the mirrorball trophy. And she'll need to loosen up to have a shot at the crown.
So where does World Peace's dancing rank among the worst by athletes on DWTS? Let's look back:
• In Season 1, boxing great Evander Holyfield was sent home the second week.
• In Season 2, ESPN personality Kenny Mayne was eliminated the first week.
• In Season 6, tennis great Monica Seles was sent home the first week.
